Welcome to the first Reactor weblog.
The uncensored confessions of four twisted rockers.

We want this bit of the site to be interactive, for the people who listen to our music.
So use the buttons to get in touch with us, and tell us what you like (and don't like) about Reactor!
Work is pain. And being in a band is a lot of work. Only a few lucky muso types ever get to lounge around on big yaughts in the caribbean, snorting complimentary coke out of Christina Aguilera's butt crack whilst they wait for the football stadium to fill up. For most of us music means a lifetime of thankless toil and boring admin crap, just to elevate ones band to the status of mediocre unheard of also-rans... In just the last two weeks I have:
1) Encoded the new video as realplayer files for the web and posted it on reactorsite.
2) Bought a domain name and hosting account in the USA.
3) Captured over 40 still pics from 5 hours of live video footage de-interlaced them, resized them burned them onto a cd and sent them to our plugger in America with preview album copies.
4) Encoded the album tracks as mp3 files and tagged them with copyright info and posted them.
5) Made new paypal buttons for 2 products in 4 currencies and added them to the website shop.
6) Dreamed up an album cover, found photographer and model, and organised the photoshoot.
7) Added 100 names to the mailing list.
8] Updated the Reactor gallery
9) Configured the new forum section on the website.
None of this is paid work, and most of it costs money to set up, obviously borrowed money we aint got. In the mean time I'm about to go to prison cos I cant pay my taxes and I haven't done my accounts. I owe a million pounds on credit cards and I haven't got a job. What the hell am I doing? Can anyone tell me why I'm doing this? The one thing I have learned is: "Ask not what Reactor can do for you... rather what can you do for Reactor?". Or in Kev's case its probably better not to ask at all... He's been installing a flat packed kitchen for several months now.
